Benefit this Friday at the Ludlow Farmer’s Market

Other than a loss of power for a few days, we’ve been very lucky to get through Irene’s wrath without any damage.  Unfortunately, several of our friends and neighbors were’n't so lucky.  We’ll be at the Ludlow Farmer’s Market this Friday where The Ludlow Market will be having a barbecue to benefit local people who have been affected by last weeks floods.

Ludlow, Plymouth and Cavendish were all hit very hard, so we hope you’ll be able to come out and enjoy the market while helping out our friends in need.

Come join the fun at the Ludlow Farmers’ Market Friday!

The Ludlow Farmers’ Market this week will host a Maple sugaring demo by Jeff Smith.  Jeff is the owner of Maple Crest Farm and makes award winning pure Vermont Maple Syrup.   You can also sign-up for the free raffle for a chance at winning a 50.00  or one of two 25.00 gift certificates.  The drawing will be held at the 8/5 market.

Next week you can also join the Ludlow Farmers’ Market for the second pig roast of the year and there will be music by Scott Forrest.

We’re at market, rain or shine!

There might be a little rain outside this Friday morning, but we’re busy preparing for markets this weekend.  Rain in the forecast today doesn’t stop us from heading to two markets today and Rutland Market tomorrow.  Christine will be at the Brandon Market today from 9am-2pm.  Ray will finish baking for K.P. to take to market in Ludlow from 4pm-7pm.  Then Ray will fire up the oven again while Chris prepares the dough for Saturday’s Rutland Outdoor Market, 9am-2pm.  Hope to see you at one of the markets.

If you happen to miss us this weekend, we also are baking on Tuesdays!  You can find K.P. at the market in Whitehall NY from 1pm-4pm, and Chris at the Rutland Tuesday market from 4pm-7pm!

Spring is near!

We have had a great winter and enjoyed baking for the Indoor Winter Market in Rutland.  But, after all this snow, we are looking forward to a change in weather and a different location, outside!  The Rutland Outdoor market begins on May 7th and we can’t wait.
